Football technical center and artificial turf stadium in Khoni
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is launching the project for construction of a football technical center and an artificial turf stadium in the town of Khoni.
The Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze and the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Beka Urushadze, together with the State Representative of the Imereti Region Levan Zalkaliani and the Mayor of Khoni Municipality Lado Jurkhadze visited the old stadium, in the place of which a new technical center will be built.
The project is aimed to construct an artificial turf football field, stands for 300 spectators, changing rooms, bathrooms, and utility rooms.
The sports infrastructure will be fully adapted for people with special needs. The technical center will also be equipped with appropriate sports equipment and technological means necessary for field maintenance.
The new sports infrastructure will contribute to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among young people, the development of sports in the regions and the socio-economic strengthening of the municipality.
They also inspected the territory designated for the construction of a multifunctional sports complex.
