Ganmukhuri and Maltakva coastline
Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, Deputy Minister Mzia Giorgobiani, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Beka Urushadze, and representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) — Director General of the Central and West Asia Department Leah Gutierrez and Director of the Bank's Georgia Office Leslie Bearman Lam — inspected the condition of the Ganmukhuri and Maltakva coastlines, along with the Lake Maltakva adjacent area.
During the visit, with the aim of future cooperation, the Minister of Infrastructure introduced the project planned for the development of the Maltakva, Anaklia and Ganmukhuri coastline to the representatives of the Asian Development Bank; the project envisages renovation of coastal infrastructure and strengthening the tourism potential of the region.
The new Regional Director of the Asian Development Bank is on an inception visit to Georgia. During the visit, the Bank's representatives will get acquainted with completed, ongoing and potential infrastructural projects supported by the ADB. Visits to project sites are planned in Poti, Zugdidi, Kutaisi and Tskaltubo.
