Design of a new building for Tsalenjikha Public School #1 to begin

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Beka Urushadze, Members of the Parliament of Georgia, and representatives of local authorities, met with the representatives of the architectural bureau “New City Development” to discuss the design the Tsalenjikha Public School #1.

 

MDF of the Ministry of Infrastructure is starting to design a new building for Tsalenjikha Public School #1, designed for 600 students.

The project will be used as a replicable model in various regions of Georgia.

 

The new school will provide the students with the infrastructure of modern standards, including classrooms, an information and communication technology room, a science laboratory, and an area for fine and applied arts.

 

The school building will also house a library, a music room, a medical office, a dining room, and multifunctional and sports halls.

 

Moreover, the project will include the arrangement of a playground, an open, artificially covered multifunctional sports field, and changing rooms on the school grounds.

 

The infrastructure of the new school will be fully adapted for the people with special needs.
