Design works for a new UEFA Category III stadium launched in Tkibuli
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has commenced design works for UEFA Category III stadium in Tkibuli, with observance of international standards.
The project envisages dismantling of the depreciated stadium and construction of a new stadium designed for 4,500 spectators in its place.
The new Tkibuli stadium is to feature changing rooms, showers, medical and physiotherapy rooms, a doping control area, a conference hall and a media center.
In addition, a parking lot is to be arranged on the site and the stadium is to be equipped with security, lighting, sound and video surveillance technologies.
The stadium infrastructure will be fully adapted for people with special needs.
The new stadium is to support both sports and cultural as well as public activities.
