Rehabilitation of Public School #7 in Chiatura completed

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure has completed the rehabilitaiton of the Public School #7 in Chiatura, designed for 500 students.
Minister of Education and Science Givi Mikanadze, Deputy Executive Director of MDF Tamar Pitskhelauri, and representatives of local authorities were familiarized with the accomplished works on site.
The school rehabilitation project provided for the arrangement of classrooms, library, science lab, sports hall, and a courtyard of modern standards.
The school has been fully adapted for the people with disabilities.
The rehabilitation of Chiatura Public School has been implemented with co-fiancing of the Government of Georgia (GOG) and the World Bank (WB). The project cost amounted to GEL 8.9 million.
The Chiatura Public School was built in 1974, and has not been rehabilitated since then.
