The Commission of the Ministry of Infrastructure Evaluates Architectural Concepts
The Architectural Concept Evaluation Commission existing under the Ministry of Infrastructure reviewed proposals for development of modern, multifunctional and comfortable public parks in Ambrolauri and Akhaltsikhe.
The proposals for Ambrolauri Park envisaged arrangement of an educational-amusement park, development of multifunctional spaces around an artificial lake, as well as integration of gaming, sports and pavilion zones.
Within the framework of the Akhaltsikhe Central Park development project, the presented concepts provided for arrangement of an amphitheater, accomplishment of children’s, entertainment, recreational and ceremonial spaces, as well as creation of modern urban infrastructure.
The discussion was attended by Minister of Infrastructure - Revaz Sokhadze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund - Beka Urushadze, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure - Batu Gurjidze, State Representative in the Racha-Lechkhumi-Kvemo Svaneti Region - Papuna Margvelidze, Mayor of Akhaltsikhe - Varlam Tsiklauri, and a team of art historians.
