New football technical stadium opens up in Rustavi
The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure has completed construction of football technical center and two pitches in Rustavi City.
Within the project, two football pitches with artificial cover and a technical center have been arranged, fully equipped with the required inventory and equipment for maintenance of those pitches. The complex includes changing rooms, water closets, and utility areas.
The stadium, designed for 200 spectators, is fully adapted for the people with special needs.
The project was financed by the Government of Georgia at the amount of GEL 4.9 million.
The new infrastructure will contribute to the development of sports in Rustavi and the region, as well as the promotion of a healthy lifestyle amongst the youth.
