MDF announces the bidding for design of multifunctional complexes in several citiies

 The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) is to construct the new multifunctional sports and cultural-cognitive complexes of international standards in Ozurgeti, Gori, Gurjaani, Kobuleti, Baghdati and Tsnori Cities.

 

There will be arranged the infrastructure, designed for 1000 spectators in Ozurgeti, Gori, and Gorjaani. The Kobuleti multifunctional complex is anticipated to host 500 spectators, whereas the Baghtdati complex is to accept 250 ones.
 
As per designs, those complexes are to include: multifunctional halls, big and small swimming pools for kids, gyms and fitness areas. The buildings will house the halls for various sports as well.
 
The multifunctional complexes is to cover also: media library, choreography, arts, folklore, and foreign language spaces, STEM club, small theater, multifunctional space for events, administrative and technical zones.
 
The design envisages arranging of parking lots, roads, pedestrian paths, recreation zones on the site of the complex, site landscaping is to be provided as well. There is to be carried out also the complete planning of outdroor lighting, security, water supply, heating-cooling and fire safety systems.
 
Alongside with the announced bidding for design of multifuncional infrastructure for five cities, the market study has been announced also for the design of Tsnori sports complex, designed for 200 spectators:
 
 
It is worth mentioning that the biddings announced for Kobuleti, Ozurgeti and Baghdati will be typical, i.e. there is to be developed the design which will be applied then as a replicable model in various regions of Georgia.
 
MDF encourages architects to actively participate in the market study so as the project cost to be defined correctly.
