Meeting with Business Association Members

Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Beka Urushadze, together with Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze and head of those entities subjected to the Ministry, met with the representatives of the member companies of the Business Association of Georgia (BAG).
In attendance of the meeting was also Genadi Arveladze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Whilst delivering the speech to the business sector representatives, Beka Urushadze noted that MDF is ready for transparent cooperation with business representatives so as the relations with the private sector to be even more simplified.
Revaz Sokhadze familiarized the participants of the meeting with the vision and policy of the Ministry of Infrastructure. The Minister noted that the Ministry attaches particular importance to partnership with business, since active cooperation with the private sector is significant both for the effective implementation of projects and for encouraging the economic development of the country.
The Minister and head of entities subjected to the Ministry, familiarized business representatives with innovations, being introduced in the system, current processes, and strategic plans of the Ministry, including large-scale infrastructural projects, implementation of which is to start in the near future.
Members of the Business Association shared with the team of the Ministry the challenges, being in the private sector and those issues that are important for mutual cooperation to be provided. The meeting was proceeded in a question and answer (Q&A) format.
