Construction of a technical stadium in Rustavi under completion

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is completing construction of a football technical center and two football grounds in the city of Rustavi.

 

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Beka Urushadze, inspected the ongoing works.

 

Construction works are backed by the Government of Georgia with 4.9 million GEL funding.

 

Two artificial turf football grounds equipped with lighting and a technical center were constructed as part of the project, which will be fully equipped with appropriate furniture and equipment necessary for their maintenance. The complex also includes change rooms, bathrooms and utility rooms.

 

The stadium, designed for 200 spectators, is fully adapted for people with disabilities.

 

The new infrastructure will help promote sports in Rustavi and the whole region and introduce a healthy lifestyle among young people.
