Construction of biathlon trail in Bakuriani is completed

The construction of biathlon and ski trail (Cross Country) of 3.5 km in Bakuriani is completed, which has already hosted the 2025 European Winter Youth Olympics.
 
The trail has been equipped with the lighting system and the artificial snow-making infrastructure.
 
Upon finalization of the winter season, there was arranged the asphalt cover on the trail to enable the users to apply the ski trail for sports and tourist activities in summer too.
 
The project implementation was funded out of the state budget at the cost, exceeding GEL 18.2 million.
 

The ice rink of international standards has also been built in Tbilisi for the European Winter Youth Festival. The ice rink, designed for up to 700 spectators, will serve hockey, figure skating, and curling sports.
