Central Transportation Hub, Pedestrian Paths and Bike Lanes in Bakuriani

The central transportation hub is being built in Bakuriani Borough, which means that there is to be arranged the multifunctional building of international standards, designated for various types of services.

 

There will be arranged the parking lot for public transport and special machinery, car wash area, service center for technical maintenance and multifunctional working zone at the building.

 

The hub is to serve the local population, as well as the town visitors, and is to significantly improve the management of transport system throughout the resort.

 

The construction of pedestrian paths and bike lanes is to be continued as well, since it will provide the connection of main streets and recreation areas of Bakuriani that will encourage popularization of healthy lifestyle and reduce the number of vehicles, being in the center.

 

The works include arranging of the infrastructure from the circuit road towards Kokhta, rehabilitation of Kumaritashvili St. and access roads to the town center, full refurbishment of the road pavement and outdoor lighting systems, and replacing of utilities – gas, internet and electricity networks.
