Active continuation of rehabilitation works in Batumi

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) carries out the rehabilitation of 7 streets and buildings in Batumi City within the Cities and Resorts Development Program.

The restoration of the façades of buildings and structures on Irakli Abashidze Street, as well as the renovation of the road pavement has been finalized. Currently the rehabilitated buildings and the structures, being in the courtyards, are being roofed.

The restoration of the façades is to be finalized at Memed Abashidze Street too, where the yards, as well as the road pavement will also be renovated. As per the request of the Batumi City Hall, the vehicle road will be broadened by 1.8 m, that will simplify the movement significantly.

The restoration process of the facades of 12-storey residential buildings and the facades of various buildings are at the final stage at Akhmeteli, Baratashvili and Gogebashvili Streets. Simultaneously with that, the roofing works are being executed. The rehabilitation of the façades has been commenced on Melashvili and Kostava Streets as well.

Within the current rehabilitation program, being executed in Batumi, the doors/windows will be replaced with the ISO-aluminum system, which is to improve the energy efficiency of the buildings highly.
