Municipal Development Fund Launches Large-Scale Infrastructural Projects

Construction and rehabilitation of cultural, sports, tourist, educational and other types of infrastructure are planned in the capital city as well as in various municipalities.

For the purpose of project implementation, the Municipal Development Fund is to gradually announce market research and tenders.

Concerning various scale projects planned countrywide, today the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Beka Urushadze, together with his deputies and employees of the Fund, held a meeting with architects.

Those present at the meeting, discussed deadlines for project implementation, work process management and approaches, of interest to the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Municipal Development Fund at the stages of project planning and implementation.

The Municipal Development Fund prioritizes active participation of architects in the named projects, which ensures creation of competitive environment, maximum involvement of qualified specialists, and forms basis for high-quality implementation of projects.
