Rehabilitation of Baghdati Public School #1 in Active Phase
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is carrying out works for rehabilitation of Baghdati Public School #1 in Imereti region.
The public school, designed for 250 students, will be rehabilitated in accordance with international standards and is to be fully adapted for people with disabilities.
According to the project, the school will be equipped with all the necessary internal and external spaces, classrooms, sports grounds and yard areas, as stipulated by modern standards. Heating, water supply and sewage systems are to be installed as well. Rehabilitation project provides for the necessary works to ensure energy efficiency by means of the roof and wall insulation, which is to save electricity and maintain heat during the winter period.
Rehabilitation and construction works of the public school are being carried out with financial support from the World Bank.
