The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is carrying out the rehabilitation of Public School No. 89 in Tbilisi
During the rehabilitation process, following the commencement of construction works and a detailed examination of the building’s structural elements, it became necessary to introduce certain adjustments to the project.
The Municipal Development Fund temporarily suspended the rehabilitation works and instructed the contractor company to conduct an additional study on the building’s structural integrity. Based on the results of this study, the next stages of the works will be planned. At this stage, the project is being revised and necessary changes for strengthening works are being introduced.
The current condition of the school was inspected on site by the Executive Director of the Fund, Beka Urushadze, and Deputy Executive Director, Archil Nikoleishvili.
Ensuring a safe environment for students is of utmost importance to the Fund; therefore, all decisions are made with maximum caution and responsibility.
