The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has completed the rehabilitation works of Public School No. 2 in the city of Khashuri

Khashuri Public School No. 2, named after Davit Kakhiashvili, is designed to accommodate 440 students.
The school has been renovated in accordance with international standards and is fully adapted for persons with disabilities.
As part of the project, classrooms, restrooms, sports grounds, and the schoolyard were arranged; heating, water supply, and sewage systems were installed.
The rehabilitation works also included energy efficiency improvements – insulation of the roof and walls, which will help reduce electricity consumption and retain warmth during the winter season.
The Davit Kakhiashvili Public School was built in 1927, with one of its wings added in 1970. Since then, no rehabilitation had taken place. The building was in a critical condition and in urgent need of renovation.
The rehabilitation of the public school was carried out with co-financing from a World Bank loan and the State Budget.
