The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has completed the rehabilitation of the public school in the village of Tsikhisdziri, Mtskheta Municipality.

Khashuri Public School No. 2, named after Davit Kakhiashvili, is designed to accommodate 440 students. The school has been renovated in accordance with international standards and is fully adapted for persons with disabilities.

During the rehabilitation process, following the commencement of construction works and a detailed examination of the building’s structural elements, it became necessary to introduce certain adjustments to the project.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has completed the rehabilitation of Kindergarten No. 1 in Tskaltubo. The project was funded by the Government of Georgia and had a total cost of 3.1 million GEL.

Within the framework of the “Renewed Regions” program, the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has completed the rehabilitation of Kutaisi Central Park. As a result of the project, the city has gained a well-arranged, multifunctional, and fully renovated recreational space.

As part of a regional working visit, the Minister of Infrastructure, Revaz Sokhadze, together with his deputies, the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Beka Urushadze, and representatives of the local government, visited ongoing projects in the town of Abastumani, Adigeni Municipality.

Construction and rehabilitation of roads of international and national importance, schools and kindergartens, as well as water supply systems.

As part of a regional working visit, the Minister of Infrastructure, Revaz Sokhadze, and the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Beka Urushadze, visited the construction site of a new public school in Zestaponi, which is being implemented with the support of the World Bank.

The Minister of Infrastructure, Revaz Sokhadze, together with his deputies and the Head of the Municipal Development Fund, Beka Urushadze, held a meeting with some representatives of the Association of Architects - this was the first working meeting aimed at discussing forms of cooperation.

The Minister of Infrastructure of Georgia, Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Beka Urushadze, and the ministry team, held a meeting with Leslie Bearman Lam, Head of the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Resident Mission in Georgia.
