35 Kindergartens’ Construction and Rehabilitation Projects to be Implemented in Kakheti Region
41 infrastructural projects at the cost of GEL 199 million are being implemented in Kakheti Region. These include construction and rehabilitation of schools and kindergartens, as well as urban upgrade of villages and towns.
The projects undergo implementation by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure. Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze together with his deputies and representatives of local authorities, was familiarized with the progress of works on site.
Construction and rehabilitation of kindergartens is underway in Sagarejo Town, Badiauri Village of Sagarejo Municipality, Bodbe Village of Sighnaghi Municipality, Tsnori Town and Dzveli Anaga Village of Tsnori Municipality. The rehabilitation of the kindergarten in Vachnadziani Village of Gurjaani Municipality is nearing completion.
Within the framework of the construction and rehabilitation projects, the kindergartens will be equipped with all necessary internal and external spaces, play and recreational areas in compliance with the modern standards of preschool education. The buildings will be fully adapted for those with special needs.
Within the framework of the State Program “Construction and Rehabilitation of Kindergartens” and with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), construction-rehabilitation projects of 35 kindergartens in total will be executed in Kakheti.
