Beka Urushadze to Head the Municipal Development Fund

 Upon the nomination of the Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, Beka Urushadze was appointed  to the position of Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure.


Beka Urushadze is an economist and a Doctor of Information and Communication Technologies (PhD). He has also received professional education in international project management, business and financial management at various international educational institutions.

Beka Urushadze has many years of experience working in a variety of jobs in the private and public sectors. At various times, he held positions as a manager of commercial organizations. He was a managing partner of the  “Urus Group” company, a partner and head of international expansion at Space Neobank (TBC Group, LSE: TBCG), head of digital banking and business development at “Credo Bank”, a business analyst at VisionFund International. Further, at different times, he served as the Information Technology Manager at the World Vision International Georgia office and a Business Analyst at the World Vision International USA office. 

In 2011-2012, Beka Urushadze worked in the capacity of the Project Manager of the Public Sector Financial Management Reform Support Project (State Procurement Agency), since 2013 he has occupied the position of Advisor on Information Technology Issues at the Ministry of Corrections and Probation and of Advisor on the same issues - at the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Enforcement of Non-custodial Sentences and Probation.

Beka Urushadze succeeded Davit Tabidze as the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund.
