The Rehabilitation of Kutaisi Central Park Will be Completed in the Second Half of June due to Additional Work

Rehabilitation works of Kutaisi Central Park are in the final phase. At the moment, 90% of the works planned under the project are already completed.
At the request of the Kutaisi Municipality City Hall, the following new components have been added to the project: renovation of the pedestrian paths on the southern and eastern sides of the park and arrangement of a special space for the bust of Niko Nikoladze. Due to the above changes, the completion date of works has been extended and the park will be opened in a renovated form in the second half of June.
At the moment, the following works have already been completed in Kutaisi Central Park: renovation of water supply and sewage systems, arrangement of a drainage and automatic irrigation system, installation of energy-efficient lighting poles, renovation of fountains and arrangement of new fountains, paving of paths and curbs, restoration of historical colonnades and infrastructure, arrangement of a media library and additional greenery in accordance with the dendrological project. Also, a new recreational zone - "Rose Alley" - has already been created in the lower part of the park.
The Kutaisi Central Park Rehabilitation Project is being implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
