Construction of Two Kindergartens in Gurjaani Municipality has been Completed
The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure (MRDI) has completed the construction of kindergartens, designated for 100 children in Velistsikhe and Akhasheni Villages of Gurjaani Municipality.
The construction projects were implemented within the framework of the State Program: “Construction-Rehabilitation of Kindergartens”, and were financed with GEL 4.7 million from the state budget.
At the new kindergartens, designated for 100 children, were arranged the bedrooms, playrooms, locker rooms, administrative rooms, kitchen, dining room, laundry, elevator and evacuation stairs. The recreation areas and playgrounds were also arranged at the courtyards. The kindergartens are fully adapted for the people with disabilities.
The City Hall of Gurjaani Municipality will provide the kindergartens to be equipped with the necessary equipment.
MDF has been implementing construction and rehabilitation projects of thoroughly 32 kindergartens in Kakheti Region, of which construction of 4 kindergartens and rehabilitation of 1 kindergarten have already been completed. The projects within the framework of the State Program: “Construction-Rehabilitation of Kindergartens” are financed from the state budget in the amount of GEL 74 million. The Program envisages construction and rehabilitation of 885 kindergartens across the country.
