Municipal Development Fund Announces Competitions for Designing 6 New Kindergartens. The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is actively proceeding with the process of construction and rehabilitation of kindergartens across the country.

Sofio Barnabishvili, Program Manager of Municipal Development Fund (MDF), together with Giorgi Aladashvili, Governor of Kakheti Region, and representatives of Sagarejo Municipality, met with the residents of Manavi, and provided them with the detailed information about the rehabilitation of the Public School.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is starting design works for a new park in the Varjaani settlement of Kaspi, adjoining a natural lake.
The project is aimed at creation of a recreational space with observance of modern standards, in order to provide a comfortable environment for relaxation, entertainment, and various activities for the local population and guests.

Nato Sadzaglishvili, Deputy Head of the Planning and Evaluation Department of the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure, attended an event held between the Georgian Technical University and BIM Solutions Georgia aimed at development of BIM education.

WALL Architecture, the winner of the Municipal Development Fund competition, will complete the design of the Bagdati multifunctional sports complex in May 2026.

The construction of the kindergarten, designed for 50 children in Ghrmaghele Village of Lanchkhuti Municipality, has been completed. The building arranged in accordance with modern standards provides for all the necessities, required for children to get the preschool education.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is launching the project for construction of a football technical center and an artificial turf stadium in the town of Khoni. The Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze and the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Beka Urushadze, together with the State Representative of the Imereti Region Levan Zalkaliani and the Mayor of Khoni Municipality Lado Jurkhadze visited the old stadium, in the place of which a new technical center will be built.

A kindergarten for 75 children has been completed in the village of Nigvziani, Lanchkhuti municipality. In accordance with modern standards, the kindergarten has educational and recreational spaces, as well as a multifunctional playground tailored to the needs of children.

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, Deputy Minister Mzia Giorgobiani, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Beka Urushadze, and representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) — Director General of the Central and West Asia Department Leah Gutierrez and Director of the Bank's Georgia Office Leslie Bearman Lam — inspected the condition of the Ganmukhuri and Maltakva coastlines, along with the Lake Maltakva adjacent area.
