Village Darcheli School Construction Project to be Completed by Year-End
Zugdidi Municipality Village Darcheli public school #1 construction project is in active phase. The Government of Georgia funded GEL 1.7 million project is under implementation by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
The school, designed for 90 pupils is to be constructed with observance of international standards. Apart from classrooms, the school yard will also undergo improvement works. Heating, water supply and wastewater systems will also be arranged under the named program. The school will be fully adapted to needs of disabled people.
The project was initiated in July, 2019 and will be completed before the end of current year.
Under the Educational Infrastructure Construction and Rehabilitation Program, the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is undertaking construction of 66 schools, and works for rehabilitation and energy-efficiency component strengthening - for 100 schools.
The Educational Program is funded by Government of Georgia and Donors (CEB and NEFCO).
Overall Program cost is exceeding GEL 300 million.
