Naruja-Laituri Connecting Road Rehabilitation is Finished
The residents of Ozurgeti Municipality will benefit from the new road. The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) has already completed rehabilitation of the 7-km road to connect 2 villages. The asphalt-concrete pavement was applied on the section of the referenced motor road and yard entrances were also arranged there.
Executive Director of MDF Giorgi Shengelia was familiarized on site with the works accomplished.
Due to incurred faults, movement over that road was impeded and had been an unsolved issue for the population. The project implementation resulted in full regulation of the road infrastructure to enable the comfortable movement of local residents.
The works were executed with financial backing from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and its cost amounted to about GEL 4 million.
