Bidding announced for Construction of a New Soccer Stadium in Marneuli
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has announced bidding for construction of soccer stadium designed for 1500 spectators. Procurement is funded by Government of Georgia. The project provides for construction of high quality soccer ground with artificial covering and stands designed for 1500 spectators, with observance of requirements set for FIFA II Category stadiums. There will be a two-story building constructed under the project. The first floor is to accommodate dressing rooms, the second floor – a coaching room and office space for stadium administration.
Apart from stadium construction project, the Municipal Development Fund is also implementing works for construction of seven schools in Marneuli. These schools are as follows: Village Tsopi Public School, Village Shulaveri Public School #2, Village Kasumlo Public School, Village Jandari Public School, Village Khuldari Public School, Village Kurtliari Public School, and Village Chanakhchi Public school. As for the Village Sabirkendi Public School #1, bidding is already announced and construction works will be initiated in the immediate future.
