The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure is to begin the design work on a new recreation area in Ambrolauri. The aim of the project is to create a modern recreational environment in the city that will significantly promote the healthy lifestyle, holding of public events, and tourism development.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is starting design works for new schools in the Chakvi settlement of Kobuleti municipality and the village of Bardubani of Terjola municipality.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure has announced a competition for development of a master plan and sketch designs for the Governmental City. The large-scale project will be implemented in Tbilisi, on so called Arsenali Mountain, near Gedevanishvili Street.

A meeting of the Competition Commission was held within the framework of the competition for selection of architectural concept for rehabilitation of Ganmukhuri and Anaklia coastline. The session discussed the concepts presented by the three architectural bureaus participating in the competition.

The Minister of Infrastructure, together with the Prime Minister, the Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) Beka Urushadze, Members of the Government and Parliament, the Governor of Imereti Region, and representatives of local authorities, visited the projects, being implemented in Kutaisi.

A meeting of the competition commission was held at the Ministry of Infrastructure, within the framework of which were discussed architectural concepts for arrangement of parks and recreational spaces in several municipalities. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Beka Urushadze, Deputy Ministers, as well as mayors of the relevant municipalities and their deputies.

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) Beka Urushadze, Member of Parliament (MOP) for Varketili District Vazha Kokaia, and Head of Samgori District Kakha Samkharadze, met with the principal and teachers of Tbilisi Public School #179.

Design and construction of soccer technical centers in 15 Municipalities is to be begin. The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure is to commence the design and construction of soccer technical centers in fifteen municipalities.

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Beka Urushadze met with representatives of the contest winners for the design of stadiums and multifunctional sports complexes.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has commenced design works for UEFA Category III stadium in Tkibuli, with observance of international standards.
