Bidding for designing of Kutaisi historical district and a gallery announced
The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) has announced the Bidding for designing of Kutaisi historical residential district and Davit Kakabadze Art Gallery.
Rehabilitation of Kutaisi historical district envisages rehabilitation of residential houses and public buildings of the 19th century being along Rioni riverbank. The project provides for arrangement of pedestrian path from the “Red Bridge” up to the “Chain Bridge” on the side of Rioni River and it will be connected to residential and pubic objects.
MDF has scheduled also to reconstruction-rehabilitation of Davit Kakabadze Art Gallery founded in 1976. The Art Gallery was granted the status of cultural heritage monument of Georgia. There are up to 3000 graphical, sculptural, and applied arts’ exhibits at the Museum.
