“Development of educational infrastructure in Georgia is one of the most important priorities of the state. The Municipal Development Fund implements school projects submitted by ESIDA in accordance with the priorities and recommendations of the Ministry of Education,” stated Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze during the interpellation procedure in the Parliament of Georgia.

According to the Expert Opinion by Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau, the building of Tbilisi Public School #89 will be completely demolished, and a new one of modern standards will be constructed in its place.

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Beka Urushadze, Kutaisi Mayor Davit Eremeishvili and art historians, visited several streets of the historical neighborhood of Kutaisi, the historical building of the library and the Student-Youth Park.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Minsitry of Infrastructure has announced a bidding for construction of the Tbilisi-Rustavi 2nd section of Tbilisi-Red Bridge (border with Azerbaijan) Highway of international significance.

The next meeting of Competition Commission was held at the Ministry of Infrastructure, with participation and involvement of Minister Revaz Sokhadze and Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Beka Urushadze. In the course of the meeting there were reviewed the designs, submitted within the architectural competitions, announced by MDF.
