Rehabilitation of Zestaponi Water Supply System to be Completed at Year-end
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing water supply system rehabilitation project in Zestaponi. Cost of this project backed by European Investment Bank averages GEL 4.8 million.
Giorgi Shengelia – Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia together with local authorities was visiting the ongoing project site. ,,The water supply project envisages refurbishment of the reservoir as well as the whole system. Despite of the challenges, civil works are actually completed, remaining works just include technical equipment. We have instructed the contractor and expect the project to be completed at year-end” –stated Giorgi Shengelia.
Following rehabilitation of the water supply system, Zestaponi population will have improved schedule of water supply.
