Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Beka Urushadze, the Chairman of the Roads Department Levan Darakhvelidze, Member of the Parliament of Georgia Ilia Injia, representatives of local authorities, and Director of “Enguri Attraction” Nikoloz Antidze inspected the condition of the cable-braced bridge over Magana River in Jvari Town of Tsalenjikha Municipality.

Kheta Village has now a School that meets modern standards. The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure has finalized the rehabilitation of Kheta Village Public School in Khobi Municipality. The school has been renovated in accordance with international standards, and is fully adapted for people with disabilities.

The design for infrastructural upgrade of the coastlines of Anaklia and Ganmukhuri has begun. The project envisages the creation of a completely renovated, multifunctional, and accessible recreational space, covering an area of 66.5 hectares.

The first session of the Interagency Commission established to coordinate the process of public schools’ infrastructure development was held. At the session, members of the commission discussed challenges facing the infrastructure development of public schools, set specific tasks and discussed future plans. Special attention was paid to issues related to current projects and new priority schools.

A technical center and stadium with artificial turf of modern standards are to be constructed in Senaki that will open up new opportunities for young people. The project envisages the arrangement of a modern soccer pitch, a grandstand designated for 300 spectators, changing rooms, WCs, and utility rooms.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure has scheduled to rehabilitate the “April 9” alley in Poti City. The project envisages the full upgrade of the alley, and the arrangement of a modern, functional recreational space.

"Infrastructural works are actively ongoing in Kutaisi. Today we inspected the works in progress in the vicinity of the Student-Youth Park and the former Parliament building, which are in active phase and are under implementation according to the set schedule." - stated the Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze after visiting current projects in Kutaisi.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) has decided to terminate the Contract for Rehabilitation of the Central Part of Velistsikhe Village, signed with the Contractor Company – JV of “IN-SI” Ltd. and “Java” Ltd. The reason for that decision has become the failure of those companies to fulfill their obligations, notwithstanding numerous warnings.

A new boulevard on Abashidze Street of Kutaisi City being arranged. The project envisages creation of a modern urban space with recreation areas, greenery, and infrastructure adapted for the relaxation of the population.
