Municipal Development Fund of Georgia shares experience with Armenia delegation
Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Juansher Burchuladze has met with the members of Armenian Delegation, in particular with the First Deputy Minister of Territorial Management and Development of Armenia - Vache Tertiryan and Head of Local Self-Governmental Department - Ashot Giloyan.
The mentioned meeting was held as per initiative of Armenian Government aimed at MDF experience sharing with the members of Social Investment Fund of Armenia. Executive Director of MDF Juansher Burchuladze provided Delegation members with the information on objectives, structure, management tools, sources of financing, legal details, strategy and future plans of MDF.
It needs be noted that the idea of study visit conducting to Georgia was initiated within the WB funded international seminar “Development of Social Investment Funds in Armenia and Moldova” having taken place in Yerevan. The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has hosted the members of Armenian Social Investment Fund for the first time in May 2013. In the process of the 3-day visit the members of Armenian Delegation have been familiarized with the strategies and directions of regional development.
