Access road to “Ormila” settlement in Sighnaghi Town undergoes rehabilitation
Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministry of Georgia - Juansher Burchuladze has conducted the site visit for rehabilitation works of “Ormila” settlement access road in Sighnaghi Town.
One-kilometer access road to “Ormila” settlement has never been asphalted and local residents had been using the soil road to be connected with the city center. The project considers applying of two-layer asphalt-concrete pavement. There will be arranged the drainage network, water pipes, reinforced concrete grooves, profiled ground channels etc. The road will be marked and safety works will be carried out.
The project with co-financing of the Government of Georgia is implemented by Municipal Development Fund and its cost amounts to GEL 400 thousand. There are employed 20 people at construction works. The project was commenced in December 2015 and is to be completed in May 2016.
