Village Bakurtsikhe to have renovated Center of Culture
First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili and Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund Juansher Burchuladze have visited the rehabilitation works being conducted at the Culture Center building in Bakurtsikhe Village.
The Center of Culture of Bakurtsikhe Village was built in the 70-ies of the past century and it has not been functioning for 20 years. As per the order of the Municipal Development Fund there will be conducted the overall repairs of the building. The floor will be finished with ceramic granite and natural stones; there will be arranged the metal -plastic windows and MDF doors, roofing of the building will be replaced as well. There will be installed the heating system and power and WS network will be arranged too. In addition to building rehabilitation the project considers also yard revetment.
The project is being implemented by World Bank funding and co-financing of the Government of Georgia and its Cost amounts to GEL 1 922 556.31. Rehabilitation works will be completed in October 2016. There are employed 35 people at works.
