First Aid Medical Clinic under Construction in Village Tkviavi

February 8, 2016

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is constructing a first aid clinic in the frontline village.  Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze has visited the project site and checked quality of construction works in Gori Municipality Village Tkviavi.

Civil works are funded from the state budget and their cost amounts to GEL 1,629,996.89. Construction works commenced in November 2015 and will be completed in autumn of 2016.  The first aid clinic will have capacity to receive 15 patients concurrently. Construction of the first aid center in the frontline village is of great importance, since currently, inhabitants of dozens of villages have to apply to the municipal centers in order to receive first aid treatment, which is rather complicated.  After project completion, the population will have this problem fully solved.

Concrete and walling works are already completed at the project site. Currently, building roofing works are ongoing.  The project envisages construction and refurbishment of the completely new building. Heating and ventilation systems will be installed together with a boiler room, laundry room, water treatment unit, etc.   After completion of construction works, the first aid clinic will be equipped with respective infrastructure required for the medical establishment.

We would like to remind you that the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has arranged village dispensaries in 23 frontline villages, where the population has access to first aid facilities.
