The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and its Entities in Charge Updated the Public on their 3-Year Activities
Today, in the Tbilisi History Museum “Karvasla”, the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia held a presentation of the report of 3-year period activities of the Ministry and its entities in charge. The 3-year period report included an extensive narrative concerning infrastructural projects completed by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia within the reporting period. The presentation was opened by the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Nodar Javakhishvili. The Minister acquainted the public with major infrastructural projects implemented by the Ministry from 2013 to present day. Besides, he discussed some large-scale ongoing and planned projects and performed institutional activities targeted at regional development.
The event was attended by the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze, members of the cabinet of ministers of Georgia, representatives of the central and local governments and diplomatic corps, managers of donor organizations and other invited guests.
At the presentation, the Minister placed special emphasis on such large scale projects as: Construction of “University” metro station, Rehabilitation of Village Dartlo, Construction of Roshka-Arkhoti road in Khevsureti, Rehabilitation of Tskaltubo resort, Projects completed and ongoing under the expressroad construction project, Activities implemented within the frameworks of the project of “Open governance”, etc.
