MDF and ADB representatives held meeting with Rustavi population regarding construction of Tbilisi-Rustavi automobile road
By MDF and ADB initiative on April 24, 2015 meeting with local population was held at Rustavi public school # 24. Issues regarding Tbilisi -Rustavi automobile road modernization project was discussed on the meeting.
ADB and MDF representatives introduced project’s perspectives, aims, benefits, impacts and gender issues to the population. Particular attention was paid to road safety issues. Representatives of “Partnership for road safety” presented cognitive video commercials and underlined importance of awareness of safety measures and norms. Among attendants most aware of safety norms were selected and granted with gifts.
Meeting was attended by : Kate Julian –ADB representative director, and representatives of MDF and “Partnership for road safety” .
