The population of Tsnori will have a continuous water supply
United Water Supply Company at the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure together with the Municipal Development Fund carries out large-scale infrastructure project for the improvement of water supply in Tsnori. As a result of the completion of the project, population will be supplied with high-quality water, by the new water network in continuous schedule. The First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure George Amashukeli inspected ongoing works on the spot together with the Director of United Water Supply Company Vladimir Lazarishvili today.
The project includes rehabilitation and reconstruction of 1250m3 reservoir, pumping stations, wells and chlorination; Also, arrangement of pipelines, reservoirs, the city's domestic distribution networks and construction of the new networks in three areas of the city and 2 new storage facilities.
The project is financed by the European Investment Bank and its cost is 10 million GEL. Construction Company "Zimo" implements rehabilitation works, and 23 people are employed at the project. The project will be completed in 2016.
